Vin Diesel And Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Are The Highest Grossing Actors Of 2017

The Fast and the Furious franchise has helped propel the careers of many people. Vin Diesel and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson benefited a lot this year thanks to the release of The Fate of the Furious.

As reported by Forbes, Vin Diesel was the highest grossing actor in Hollywood in 2017. This is thanks to both The Fate of the Furious and xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

Not to mention he also provided the voice for Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as well.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson took the second spot thanks to his roles in The Fate of the Furious, Baywatch and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

The Rock is usually on these lists every year since he's credited as being the busiest actor in Hollywood right now.

Even though Gal Gadot was not in The Fate of the Furious, she is an alumni to the franchise and her career has skyrocketed thanks to her role as Wonder Woman.

Her films such as Wonder Woman and Justice League made her third this year as her movies grossed $1.4 billion.

The rest of the top ten included Emma Watson, Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth and John Boyega.

Depending how well Star Wars: The Last Jedi does, Ridley and Boyega could shoot up higher on the list.

Next year Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland and many of the actors in the MCU might be at the top.

This is because Avengers: Infinity War is expected to be the highest Box Office earner in 2018. The movie will be out in North America on May 4th, 2018.
