With the 2016 Presidential Elections race nearing its home stretch, Bernie Sanders had a massive rally in Manhattan's Washington Square park. The even featured a ton of celebrities and a performance by alternative rock band Vampire Weekend.

"Performing as a trio for the first time since the departure of Rostam Batmanglij, the band ripped through a four-song set that included beloved hits like "A-Punk," "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa" and "Unbelievers," at the event, which also featured appearances from Spike Lee, Shailene Woodley, Tim Robbins, Rosario Dawson, Linda Sarsour and Graham Nash," according to Billboard.

"I know we're down in NYU territory, but if there's one place to put aside the bourgeois rivalries of public universities, it's at a Bernie Sanders Rally," said lead singer Ezra Koenig according the report.

It's not the first time that the band has come out to show support for Sanders. Two months ago Vampire Weekend also performed at Sanders' Iowa rally and it's pretty clear who the band believes the next president of the U.S. should be. You can watch the full rally in the video below featuring performances from Vampire Weekend.
