Winter is coming, Ubisoft stated via Twitter. This Game of Thrones reference was in promotion of Assassin's Creed: Rogue, their upcoming title for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game allows the player to explore the North Pole.

The company teased an image of Shay--the game's protagonist--standing on the bow of his ship, admiring the aurora in the sky. There is a destroyed ship in the image that may have significance in the game's narrative.

Ubisoft is releasing two Assassin's Creed games this year; Rogue allows the player to take control of a member of the villainous Templar order. Familiar faces will appear in the game.

Haytham Kenway, the antagonist of Assassin's Creed III, has a role in Rogue. As a Templar, you will have to be wary of Assassins that loom in the shadows--waiting for the opportunity to strike.

Unity, the main release for this year, takes place in the French Revolution. The player will control Arno as he shanks his way through one of the bloodiest eras in European History.

Unity will be released on the Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Assassin's Creed Rogue and Unity will hit retail shelves on November 11. For more about the Assassin's Creed franchise, visit its official website here. For more about Ubisoft, visit their website here.
