With Extreme Rules now behind us, wrestling fans can now look forward to SummerSlam happening in August. Two big matches have already been announced for the show taking place in Toronto, Canada.

The first match announced was decided via a Fatal 4 Way elimination match to determine Becky Lynch's SummerSlam opponent. The match was Natalya vs Alexa Bliss vs Carmella vs Naomi.

Carmella was eliminated first followed by Naomi. The winner ended up being Natalya who defeated Alexa Bliss. I'm glad Alexa Bliss did not win since she's held the title too many times already.

The crowd will be cheering for Natalya since she's from Canada, although I expect Becky Lynch to retain her Raw Women's title next month. It's possible she will be champion until Ronda Rousey comes back.

Another match that took place on Raw was to determine the number 1 contender for the Universal Title. This person will have to face Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam!

It was a ten man Battle Royal match consisting of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Big E, Baron Corbin, Cesaro, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton and Sami Zayn.

I was hoping Bobby Lashley or Big E would win as we've never seen these two face Brock Lesnar before. In the end though, Seth Rollins won by last eliminating Randy Orton.

Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam is pretty much a WrestleMania 35 rematch. It's hard to tell who will win, but I feel WWE is going to let Brock Lesnar win since ratings weren't great when Rollins was champion.

In the next few weeks we should know more matches. SummerSlam 2019 will be available via PPV and the WWE Network on August 11th, 2019.
