Konami announced via Twitter that Castlevania: Dracula X is now available on the Wii U Virtual Console. They attached a trailer, which detailed some of the classic side scrolling action for which the game is known.

But the version hitting the Virtual Console is different from the classic SNES title, according to Joystiq.

"Also hitting the eShop this week is a Wii U Virtual Console port of Konami's Super NES platformer Castlevania: Dracula X," Joystiq reports," Note that this isn't the version of Draculz X that many hold in high regard; the SNES version is a compromised reworking of the PC Engine classic Dracula X: Rondo of Blood."

But Dracula X won't be the only Castlevania title on the Virtual Console; VG247 reported that Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance will also make an appearance.

"Come October 16, the 2002 Game Boy Advance title Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance will be released," VG27 reports, "The game is set 50 years after Simon Belmont dispelled Dracula's curse, and stars his grandson, Justin Belmont who is on a quest to rescue his childhood friend."

Dracula X is now available for nostalgic fans. Harmony of Dissonance will be released on October 16.
