It looked like Travis Scott's beef is not with Epic Records. However, after frustrations with the failed roll out of his first single "Pick Up the Phone" featuring Young Thug and Quavo, Scott leaked his own track.

"THIS SONG WAS SUPPOSE TO GO TO ITUNES BUT LABELS ARE MAKEING THIS MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT ACTUALLY NEED TO BE THIS WAS GONA BE MY SINGLE BUT NOW IM GIVING A WAY FOR THE KIDS P.S. THEY MIGHT TAKE THIS DOWN CAUSE THEY DONT WANT KIDS TO EAT F*CK IT GOOD NIGHT BIRDS IN THE TRAP SING MCKNIGHT SOON," said Scott in a message to his fans.

Scott would later clear up that Epic Records was not the issue.

Update: Travis Scott explains why "Pick Up the Phone" was removed from Soundcloud:

Scott then shared a link to "Pick Up the Phone" featuring Young Thug and Quavo but warned that the label might take it down.

As he warned, the song has disappeared from the Soundcloud account but there are still a few sites who managed to rip the track before it was lost again.

"Pick Up the Phone" seems like a light summer tune with catchy lyrics and vocals from Scott.

Later on in "Pick Up the Phone," Quavo of Migos comes in and smashes his verse bringing everything into full circle. "Pick Up the Phone" is a pretty bouncy track that is pretty perfect for parties.

Earlier in the week, Scott told fans they would be eating in a big way.

For many this sounded like the promise of Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight's release but it looks like it was intended to be the release of the single instead.
