    In addition to day-to-day footwear, you should bring waterproof boots. These are also useful in case the temperatures drop overnight and it snows.


  • Waterproof jacket that can be used in snow


  • A wind resistant umbrella

If you're going somewhere with 40 degree (F) weather, pack long pants, socks, and a jacket.

In 30 degree F weather, you'll see some freezing, although mostly you can expect above freezing temperatures. Wear warm clothes, and prepare for some wintry mix precipitation by packing snow boots and mittens/gloves.

20 degree weather can be near dangerously cold, so make sure to wear heavy clothes in layers. Here is a list:
