Taiyuan, located in the Shanxi province of China, is a city that is rich in history and culture. The city has been a significant cultural and commercial center of China for over 2,500 years. Taiyuan has several ancient temples, historic sites, and beautiful natural surroundings, which makes it a top attraction for tourists visiting China. Here are some of the top attractions in Taiyuan that one should not miss:
1. Jinci Temple: Jinci Temple is one of the most ancient temples in China and located about twenty kilometers southwest of Taiyuan’s city center. This temple dates back to the Tang Dynasty and is an important center of Chinese culture and history. It is famous for its beautiful architecture, ancient trees, and historical relics, including the Flying Apsaras, the God of Water, and the God of Fire.
