The frescoes depict biblical events such as the Last Judgement, the Crucifixion, and the Final Battle. Unique to Dragomirna is the artistic depiction of plants and animals in the decor of the monastery's interior, painted in various shades of green and brown against a cream-colored background.
5. Putna Monastery
The Putna Monastery is one of the oldest and most significant religious sites in Romania. Built-in 1466 by the renowned prince of Moldavia, Stephen the Great, the monastery has a rich history of faith, healing, and warfare.
