Siwa is a remote and isolated oasis town in western Egypt that is known for its stunning natural beauty, ancient history, and unique cultural traditions. Although it is a lesser-known tourist destination, Siwa offers visitors an unforgettable experience with various attractions, including:

The Temple of the Oracle: The Temple of the Oracle is one of the most important archaeological sites in Siwa. It was dedicated to the god Amun and was believed to be the location where Alexander the Great was recognized as the son of Zeus. The temple’s ancient ruins, which date back to the 6th century BC, showcase the original Kufic inscriptions, the religious iconography of the pharaohs, and many other artifacts.

Siwa House Museum: The Siwa House Museum provides insight into the lifestyle, traditions, and architecture of the Siwan Berbers. It was opened in 1996 and is located in the Old Town. This museum is housed in an old mud-brick building, and it has a lot of interesting exhibits and displays that cover topics such as traditional clothing, handicrafts, folk music, and agricultural practices.
