What to do in Loma Plata, Paraguay
Loma Plata is a small town located in the eastern region of the Paraguayan Chaco, and is considered as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Paraguay. Loma Plata offers a unique cultural experience that is different from what many people may come across while traveling through South America. From the lush green landscapes to the colorful houses and the warm and friendly locals, there are plenty of top tourist attractions in Loma Plata that are bound to spark anyone’s interest.
1. Itaipu Dam
The Itaipu Dam is situated on the Paraná River, is considered one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in the world, attracting more than a million visitors annually.
