What to do in Klungkung, Indonesia
Klungkung is one of the regencies in Bali, Indonesia. It is located in the eastern part of Bali and is known for its rich and diverse culture. It is no surprise that Klungkung has become a popular tourist destination, with its many attractions that offer a glimpse into the local culture and way of life. Here are some of the top tourist attractions in Klungkung:
1. Kerta Gosa Pavilion and Bale Kambang
Kerta Gosa Pavilion is the most famous historical landmark in Klungkung, situated in the heart of Semarapura. It was built in the early 18th century by the Klungkung Royal Family and is famous for its painted ceilings depicting traditional Balinese folklore. Right next to the Kerta Gosa Pavilion is the Bale Kambang or Floating Pavilion, surrounded by a large pond. Bale Kambang is used as a venue for traditional dance performances and cultural events.
2. Goa Lawah Temple
