Jaipur Division, also known as the Pink City of India, is known for its rich history, heritage and culture. The region comprises of districts such as Jaipur, Dausa, Alwar, Bharatpur, and Karauli. From royal palaces to spiritual sites, Jaipur Division has something for everyone. Here are some of the top tourist attractions in Jaipur Division, India.
1. Hawa Mahal: One of the most iconic landmarks of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. The palace is famous for its unique architecture, with 953 small windows that allow cool air to circulate, keeping the palace cool during hot summer days. Visitors can admire the intricate designs and carvings on the pink sandstone facade of the palace.
2. Amer Fort: Located on a hilltop overlooking the Maota Lake, Amer Fort is a must-visit attraction in Jaipur.
