When visiting Algarve, Portugal in November, it's important to pack for mild, slightly unpredictable Mediterranean weather. The temperature can range from 12°C to 20°C (53°F to 68°F), which can be considered cooler compared to the hot summers.

Layered clothing is definitely recommended for such weather. Your daytime ensemble can start with a t-shirt and comfortable jeans or loose trousers complemented with a light cardigan or a sweater. For the slightly cooler evenings, do keep a light jacket or a warmer sweater handy. With occasional rainfall during November, waterproof outerwear, or at least a portable umbrella, is advisable.

Footwear should be chosen with comfort in mind as exploring Algarve involves a good deal of walking. Packing a pair of comfortable sneakers or walking shoes is recommended. A pair of causal dress shoes are also recommended for an evening out or if you plan to visit fancy restaurants.
