Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May have been spending money like a drunken sailor to make sure that the November 18th premiere of their new show The Grand Tour is unforgettable for us Top Gear fans...

And it sure looks like it will be.

According to UK newspaper The Sun, the 'Top Gear' guys wanted to spare no expense on the opening scene.

The Sun reports that just that one scene included 6 jets, 150 cars, and 2,000 extras -- as well as a circus of acrobats, and stilt-walkers. The value of just the cars was over $25 million.

The entourage follows Hammond, May, and Carkson as they drive custom Ford Mustangs across the desert in California.

The new Grand Tour show will be exclusive to Amazon Prime. Amazon has reportedly spent over $6 million per episode on the show, making it one of the most expensive shows ever made.

According to The Squander, Grand Tour would come in as one of the most expensive shows ever made, trailing ER (due to George Clooney's salary), Game of Thrones and Friends.

What is The Grand Tour spending all of its money on?

The Grand Tour will be shot on location all over the world, including the in-studio scenes.

The crew will be disassembling the entire studio and moving it from country to country, only to reassemble it.

Given that DHL charges over $200 to ship a 10 pound pizza-sized box to Vietnam from the US, that's gotta be quite the cost.

The stars are also very highly paid. Jeremy Clarkson alone will be making around $13 million per year, according to The Mirror. Again according to The Squander, that's more than an entire episode of Friends cost.

In the end, we'll just have to wait to see if the show is worth the cost, but we're betting it will be.
