Even though Spider-Man: Homecoming isn't even out yet, the future of the franchise is already being talked about. The cast and crew have talked a little bit about the villains we may or may not see in future Spider-Man movies.

Nerdist had a chance to interview many cast and crew members in Spider-Man: Homecoming including Tom Holland.

Even though Holland is just an actor and is not involved with the creative process, he has some villains in mind that he would like to appear in future films. You can read his comments on the matter below.

Oh, well I love Doc Ock. I think Spider-Man 2 is one of the greatest superhero movies ever made. But I think Venom is someone I'd love to kick the crap out of one day

That being said, Marvel producer Eric Carroll said in the same interview that they are shying away from including villains that have already been seen on the big screen.

He said any type of Green Goblin is unlikely to appear as they don't want to copy what has been done before.

Carroll also confirmed that Marvel has nothing to do with the Venom movie that is supposed to be out next October.

He said Sony hasn't told them they aren't allowed to use the character in their movies, but nothing has been said at the moment. He just mentioned that Sony already have their own plans for the character.

Venom has always been the most popular Spider-Man villain, although Hollywood got the character wrong in his first appearance in Spider-Man 3.

Hopefully the character can follow the path of Deadpool and redeem himself. Sony just needs to find the right actor and team to pull it off.
