Thibault Zimmermann and Lucie Thomas are a french art duo who take paper crafting to a whole new level.

Though they have a background in graphic design, Zim&Zou prefer a more hands-on approach to art making. They are primarily drawn to paper because of its adaptability; it is incredibly basic and easily accessible.

Working with paper can be quite challenging because it presents so many limits. For artists like Zim&Zou, such limits are desirable because they force one to hone in on elements like color, texture, and shadow to create effect.

Bright colors and dynamic shapes make up their paper sculptures, drawing the eye around endlessly. Once in a while they will implement outside materials, like string, LED lights, or even leather.

Their work is frequently featured in display windows, magazines, and advertisements.
