I'm With Her! As the World Burns Down, Hillary's Working on a Book

Hillary Clinton, who suddenly became a progressive during her primary -- fighting against the TPP that she used to love, among other things -- appears to be back to her old ways.
Ever since Donald Trump started making his cabinet picks, Bernie Sanders has been out on the streets nearly every day in marches, rallies, and protests to fight Trump. Meanwhile, however, Hillary Clinton has been almost entirely MIA.
Aside from a few weak tweets supporting the anti-Trump protests, she's said nearly nothing against Trump. And she certainly hasn't been fighting out there in the streets.
Well, now we know what Clinton has been doing with her time.
According to the AP, she has decided to work on a new book about her loss to Trump...and she's decided to go back on the speaker circuit (from the AP):
The former secretary of state, senator and first lady is working on a collection of personal essays that will touch on the 2016 presidential campaign, Simon & Schuster told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The book, currently untitled, is scheduled for this fall and will be inspired by favorite quotations she has drawn upon. Clinton also will reissue her best-selling "It Takes a Village" in an illustrated edition for young people.
She will also resume her relationship with the Harry Walker Agency, the speakers bureau through which she made the paid talks that were criticized by Sen. Bernie Sanders and others during the election race.
It's yet to be seen whether those "paid talks" will include speeches for Goldman Sachs. It is also unclear how much she will be paid for the book or the new speeches.
There you have it. And the Democratic establishment wonders why a lot of their base didn't think she was sincere about her newfound political positions...
