CWTV is making a case for being the go-to network for superhero-themed television shows.

In their latest extended trailer celebrating The Super Heroes of The CW, they take a respectful nod to, The Flash, Arrow, DC's Legends of Tomorrow and even Supergirl.

Last night was the season one finale for DC's Legends of Tomorrow, with the season finale of The Flash and Arrow to come next week. It was highly eventful and predicted a big season two to come.

The Flash has ramped up their show in its second season proving that it can compete with the likes of Arrow. Arrow continues to serve up a heavy dose of superhero TV packed with action and a brilliant storyline from the writers.

The CW's long-standing relationship with DC stems from Smallville, a show centered around the early life of Clark Kent/Superman growing up in the rural town of Smallville.

The show enjoyed plentiful success and ran for a total of 10 years. Clark Kent was played by Tom Welling and Clark's first love Lana Lang was played by Kristin Kruek.

It's clear that CWTV celebrates the superhero/comic phenomenon and with this trailer they are already teasing a big Fall return for their superhero lineup. You can check out The Superheroes of The CW trailer in the video below.
