Super Smash Bros. Not Finished, Might Have New Game Mode

According to Polygon, Amazon posted an update about Super Smash Bros for Wii U that suggests a mode not present in the game's 3DS counterpart.

The post on Amazon mentions a board game mode--making some speculate that there will be last-minute additions to the anticipated title.

There have been alternate game modes in Smash before that harkened back to Nintendo's side-scrolling classics.

"Whether you're creating stages on the Gamepad," Amazon states, "completing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your oppennts ina brand new board game mode, there's no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bro.s game has arrived."

This news post is given relevance considering Kotaku's report that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U isn't done.

"With Super Smash Bros.

for Wii U for Nintendo 3DS out," Kotaku reported, creator Masahiro Sakurai's job is only half done.

When one fan asked him it if felt to be done with the development of Super Smash Bros., he replied, 'I'm not done yet...'"
