Super Saiyan God Goku will be a playable character in Dragon Ball Xenoverse. The character was teased in a clip from V-Jump Magazine, and has since been confirmed in gameplay footage that has been posted online.

The video shows Goku fighting Beerus in a cave--recreating the fight scene from Battle of Gods. We don't know the full list of God Goku's techniques, but he is shown in the video finishing Beerus with a Kamehameha blast.

God Goku made his first video game appearance in 2013's Battle of Z, which was released to promote Battle of Gods. We didn't get to see much of him in the film, as he quickly reverted back to his base form during his fight with Beerus.

But he managed to retain enough divine power to stop the God of Destruction from destroying Earth.

Players will finally be able to pit God Goku against Super Saiyan 4 Goku in order to decide his strongest form. Let us know which form you think is stronger in the comment section.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is scheduled to launch on February 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Steam. For more about the title, visit its official website here.
