Fourteen years in the game and counting, UK bass legends Stanton Warriors, aka Bristol's Mark Yardley and Dominic Butler, get ready to release their highly anticipated seventh studio album Rebel Bass, featuring a host of very exciting collaborations, including Cause & Affect aka Chris Lorenzo & Kane, Tony Quattro and more to be announced.
As the lead single from the new album, "Loving Me Wrong" is an exciting taster of what's to come, perfectly showcasing the fresh, new sound that the Stanton Warriors have been busy crafting over the last year.
Whilst heralding a new juncture in their sound, Rebel Bass also draws on their strong Garage roots, with infectious, radio-friendly songs sitting comfortably alongside booming club bangers, all underpinned by that inimitable Bass sound we've all come to know and love from Stanton Warriors.
"Loving Me Wrong" comes with a phenomenal remix package courtesy of San Francisco's Worthy (Dirtybird), Jersey Club pioneer R3ll (Brick Bandits), London's Grime/House hybrid Riddim Commission (Kiss FM), Apexape (Ministry of Sound), Australia's Ribongia (October Records) and Terace (Sweat It Out).
"Loving Me Wrong" by Stanton Warriors is out Feb 20th on Central Station, Universal Music, pre-order on iTunes here.
