We managed to check out Ant-Man and the Wasp this week and the movie has two scenes in the credits that fans will have to watch.
In this article, we will try and explain what the scenes mean for the future of the MCU.
Bear in mind major spoilers will be discussed in this article so click away if you have yet to see Ant-Man and the Wasp. We will dive into details of the mid-credits scene as well as the post-credits scene.
First let's talk about the post credits scene first because this is kind of unimportant.
If you want to see it, all it shows is one of the huge ants using Scott Lang's Guitar Hero like drum set inside of this house.
It's a funny scene, although it's not very important so you can leave the cinema if you don't feel like waiting to watch this pointless comedy segment.
The more important sequence you should watch is the mid-credits scene. It's here that we find out what time period Ant-Man and the Wasp takes place in and how this affects both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.
In the mid-credits scene, Scott Lang along with Pym, Hope and Janet have a plan to get more quantum energy from the quantum realm to help out Ava's condition.
Scott Lang goes really small in the quantum realm, but things get really silent after that.
The reason everyone is quiet is because Pym, Hope and Janet have all disintegrated into thin air.
This is all thanks to Thanos who used to Infinity Gauntlet to erase 50% of the entire Universe's population. If you did not watch Avengers: Infinity War, you may not know what is going on here.
Scott Lang thinks they are playing a joke on him, but they cannot hear him anymore because they have all disappeared.
This means Scott Lang is trapped in the Quantum Realm for the time being, but he might get out since he will be a part of Avengers 4 out next year!
