Spider-Man: Homecoming Blu-ray Release Date And Special Features Swing Out

The release date for the Blu-ray release of Spider-Man: Homecoming has finally been revealed. Not to mention some of the special features have also been unveiled getting you closer to the behind the scenes work needed to make the film.

As reported by MTV, the Blu-ray release of Spider-Man: Homecoming will be swinging into stores on October 17th, 2017. It will be available on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD and and 4K Ultra HD. Remember, you will need a 4K Blu-ray player in order to see the movie in 4K. 4K Blu-ray players are expensive, although the Xbox One S and upcoming Xbox One X can play them.

If you don't like physical media, the Digital HD version of the movie is releasing earlier on September 26th, 2017.

The digital version should come with everything including the movie itself plus many of the special features that will be included in the Blu-ray.

Speaking of special features, there will be several of them. The movie will include "deleted scenes, a gag reel, a pop-up factoid track, and seven behind-the-scenes " as mentioned by MTV. There was rumored to be more Captain America vignettes too. It will be interesting to see the deleted scenes since footage from the trailers and YouTube clips never made it into the final movie. Hopefully the deleted scenes show us more of the humor of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Homecoming came out earlier this year and was praised by a lot of people.

It is easily the best Spider-Man movie we have had in many years. A sequel is already going to be released in 2019, although the character is returning in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.
