New York City And Spider-Man go together like bread and butter, but in Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 we will see the character in other locations.

This is a breath of fresh air since most of his previous movies always stayed in New York City.

The first Spider-Man: Homecoming movie already saw the web-head outside New York City as Peter Parker visited Washington DC as part of a school trip. Well in the sequel, we will see him in more diverse locations.

Marvel Studios boss, Kevin Feige, confirmed this recently with an interview with io9. You can check below the comments he made about the Spider-Man sequel.

"We start filming early July. We film in London. We shot first film in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe."

Feige did not want to comment on who the main bad guy is, although there were hints that a Sinister Six team might be in the sequel.

After all, The Vulture played by Michael Keaton is still alive in prison and some of his prison mates want to break out and get revenge on Spier-Man.

We're unlikely to know major details about Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 until after the release of both Avengers: Infinity War and its direct sequel Avengers 4. The MCU landscape might be changing forever thanks to the arrival of Thanos.

The Homecoming sequel is expected to be out in 2019 just a few months after the release of Avengers 4. It's nice to see that New York City is not the only location in the movie!
