Venom is not the only comic book movie that Sony Pictures is releasing this year. Another movie that will be out in time for Christmas is the animated film called Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is a standalone movie that focuses on Miles Morales and every other Spider-Man character in the multiverse. The new trailer introduces us to Spider-Gwen and even Spider-Ham who is a talking pig!

Spider-Ham might end up being the funniest addition of the entire movie judging by his short appearance in the trailer. Hopefully the other versions of Spider-Man are also great to watch.

The movie is not related to Marvel's Homecoming series so this is a fresh new story for fans to experience. You can read a small synopsis of the film posted down below.

"Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the creative minds behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street, bring their unique talents to a fresh vision of a different Spider-Man Universe, with a groundbreaking visual style that’s the first of its kind. Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse introduces Brooklyn teen Miles Morales, and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one can wear the mask."

The second trailer shows that this film won't take itself too seriously because there is a lot of humor in the movie.

Not to mention it's kind of refreshing watching Mile Morales as a main character since Peter Parker is usually featured in every other iteration of Spider-Man.

Anyway, you can watch the new trailer posted down below. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will release in North America on December 14th, 2018.
