This week on Saturday Night Live, Chris Hemsworth hosts, while the Zac Brown Band performs and some jokes are made. If you missed this week's episode, never fear, because we didn't, unfortunately.
Let's be real. Saturday Night Live hasn't been great since Tina Fey left the news desk.
Now, it's kind of a struggle to make easy jokes while appealing to the hottest of pop culture. i.e.: Dakota Johnson as the host last week.
Chris Hemsworth, however, is a talented hunk of man, and made this episode slightly bearable. As did Kate McKinnon, because she's wildly talent and perfect in every way. The cast is, overall, quite talented, but the skits like....
a Star Trek spoof with a chicken as the commander. Now. Let's imagine we're in the SNL writer's room, and someone says, "how about a star trek spoof with a chicken as a commander." And then no one said "No."
Opening Skit: A Message from Hillary Clinton
Kate McKinnon portrayed Hillary Clinton, giving a press release to address concerns about her personal emails not being anything to actually talk about, and her burning desire to be President of the United States--IF she chooses to run.
Laugh Level: 7.5, just because Kate McKinnon makes things that aren't actually funny, funny.
Opening Monologue by Chris Hemsworth
So Thor comes out and tries to make jokes about how many brothers he has, and then they all come out and bro hug.
Fun fact: Blond Kenan Thompson/Kellan Hemsworth is a long lost Hemsworth brother, who's actually adopted.
"He's from a place in the Northern Territory called Atlanta." Then Kate McKinnon came out as "Mom," and it was just a delightful family reunion.
Laugh Level: 3. A solid 3.
Had a blast tonight @nbcsnl with my THREE brothers and Mum.

Video #1: American Express As
Chris Hemsworth's success story. SO inspiring. "I bounced around Hollywood for days," he said.
Laugh Level: 6. This was actually pretty funny because it made fun of these commercials well. (And the actual Mindy Kaling commercial came on right after, and like, that was the funniest part.)
Brother 2 Brother
This was basically a skit about how hot Chris Hemsworth is.
Laugh Level: 2.
Spaceship
This is that Star Trek spoof with a chicken as the commander mentioned before. Chris Hemsworth flirted with the chicken. Then they put the chicken in a microwave, and she came out a delicious roasted chicken.
Laugh Level: 2, because roast chicken is delish.
Thing that was just said in Studio 8H, "Chicken to the floor, chicken to the floor." #SNL #SNLBackstage pic.twitter.com/To43tiDtkR

Iggy Azalea Show
Azealia Banks goes on the Iggy Azalea show to address their feud. Then Chris Hemsworth is "Rafty Jones". (?) Then Chris Hemsworth shook his butt in Azealia Banks' face.
Laugh Level: 3. Lol, Kate McKinnon.

Zac Brown Band Peforms

That was just @zacbrownband and @chriscornell with "Heavy is the Head"! #SNL pic.twitter.com/VwJ3pwyOh5

Weekend Update
Jokes were made about the government and stuff. Relationship expert Leslie Jones appeared and just talked about New York in the wintertime, which was amusing because her anger was real and justified. So real, so justified.
Then they ragged on Dr. Ben Carson for advocating that homosexuality is a choice. They said he came out as an idiot. Lol.
