The Smashing Pumpkins Announce A North American Reunion Tour Celebrating Early Albums

It's been many years since the (mostly) original lineup of The Smashing Pumpkins have gone on tour. Now fans will be happy because "most" members of the original lineup have reunited for a tour across North America later this year.

The Smashing Pumpkins announced the new reunion tour over on their Facebook page. You can read about all of the details posted down below.

The Smashing Pumpkins "Shiny And Oh So Bright" Tour- Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jeff Schroeder, and Jimmy Chamberlin celebrating songs from their first 5 albums: Gish, Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Adore, and Machina. Tickets available Friday Feb 23rd beginning at 10AM local.

Sadly, fans (including myself) notice one big omission from this reunion tour. Former bass guitarist D'arcy Wretzky is not a part of this tour whatsoever.

D'arcy Wretzky and Billy Corgan may still have some issues to sort out, although it's still unclear the real reason why their relationship is still sour after all these years.

Hopefully in the next few years, we can get a proper Smashing Pumpkins reunion with ALL of the original members.
