Earlier this year, Chicago rapper Tink recorded a collaborative track with New York noise pop duo Sleigh Bells for Red Bull Sound Select after the two acts were featured on the same SXSW showcase.
Now, the song has a video. Watch below.
Sleigh Bells' guitarist/multi-instrumentalist/producer Derek Miller told Rolling Stone that he was surprised the song, reworked from a track that didn't make Sleigh Bells' latest 2013's Bitter Rivals, was even released: "We weren't contractually obligated to put something out, to make that clear, so I didn't anticipate anything actually coming of it."
Miller also said that the track - in its original form - "put him to sleep." But once he heard Tink on it, he "fell back in love."
"I'm sad to say this, because we have three records out, but I think this is the first really, really great bridge that we've ever written," Miller added.
Sleigh Bells is currently working on material for the follow-up to Bitter Rivals.
Tink, who's only 19 years old, was featured on the original version of "Movin' Bass" alongside Rick Ross and Jay-Z, which ended up on Rick Ross' Hood Billionaire without her verses. Her latest single, "Tell the Children" was produced by Timbaland.
