As one of the most successful YouTube gamers on YouTube, PewDiePie is arguably one of the biggest voices in the YouTube gaming community.
Should someone so close to a YouTube gaming community be the one to address the hate against Jimmy Kimmel for his comments on YouTube's Live Gaming page?
For those of you who might be a little confused as to what we're talking about, Jimmy Kimmel completely trolled YouTube's Gaming Channel and people who actually watch other's play video games.
It was so hurtful to gamers that they began issuing all sorts of threats towards Kimmel and his family which he addressed in the show following his previous comments.
He continued to stand by his comments and was actually taken by surprise over how many people actually enjoy watching others play video games.
PewDiePie is one of the YouTube Gamer's who has made an impressive living off of the very thing that Kimmel made fun of. He has almost 40 million subscribers on YouTube all of whom are entertained by him playing various games and recording himself doing so. Felix Kjellberg is the real name of the YouTuber who also provides sometimes pretty insightful feedback after playing some of these games.
Of course, he is a bit out there and outrageous with the language he uses and his enthusiasm, however, that is also part of his appeal for some people. It's also well documented that PewDiePie earns approximately $7 million from YouTube.
So if there is someone that could maybe put this into perspective for Jimmy Kimmel it might be PewDiePie.
Thanks for 39 million!!!! Is everyone subbed with their second accounts yet? I feel like we should be running out of people??
