Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus, the sequel to Senran Kagura Burst, is coming to the Playstation Vita on October 14. The game features female ninjas fighting in scanty outfits to heavy metal accompaniment.

According to the Playstation Blog, the title will be a "fully-fledged 3D experience." This is in contrast with Kaugra Versus, which was 2D side-scroller.

"Returning from the first game are the heroic Hanzo girls and the morally Hebijo girls, the latter of whom go by their new moniker: Homura's Crimson Squad," Sony states on their blog, "Taking their place back in the ol' alma mater is a new Hebijo Elite team, and rounding out the roster is the immaculately good Gessen squad--both of which add their own perspectives to the story."

In addition to new characters, Shinovi Versus will have a branching storyline that varies depending on the character you choose. It will also be possible to "experience each of the girl's personal side-stories through their individual arcade modes."

The game will be available on October 14. But eager gamers can pre-order the title and receive a special edition of the game filled with various collectibles, including: an art book that doubles as a strategy guide, a soundtrack from the game.

All of the aforementioned will come packaged in a "shiny" container destined to become the centerpiece of your gaming collection.
