Meet Scribble--the pen that can reproduce pretty much any color you encounter in the real world. If you're looking to downsize your artists' toolbox, this may just be the pen for you.

How it works:
The pen, which runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, utilizes a 16-bit RGB color sensor that can detect over 16 million different colors.

Much like a printer, Scribble recreates these colors using a combination of black, white, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink, which comes in the pen's refillable cartridge.

It comes with 1 GB of built-in memory, meaning you can store up to 100,000 colors for quick access and have the option of importing them onto your computer or smartphone, making it ideal for the digital artist.

Unfortunately, Scribble has not yet been released to the public. Though the design itself is complete, the company is still trying to gather funds to put the pen into production and are in the process of launching a Kickstarter campaign to help do so. The pen will be available for an estimated $149.95 once funding issues are sorted out.

They hope to also release a stylus with the same capabilities as the Scribble pen, but featuring a rubber tip and to be used with graphics tablets. The Scribble Stylus will be available for an estimated $79.95.
