Oswald, a young and talented artist hailing from San Francisco and rising in the flourishing hip-hop scene, just premiered his new single "Sea Full of Sharks" featuring Hannah Georgas via The Music Ninja this past week.

The single is full of fresh beats from the Cali resident and smooth, soothing vocals from the Canadian songstress.

Check out and take a listen to the new track, also the lead single off Oswald's upcoming EP Ride, below via Soundcloud.

The 18 year old rapper is known to bring a new and diverse sound to his work, mixing hip-hop with indie-rock and indie-pop sounds.

The young artist has been inspired by big-names in the industry including Murs, Lupe Fiasco, CHVRCHES, Purity Ring, Mount Wolf, Big Black Delta and the Rhyme Sayers roster.

Oswald's debut EP Ride, is set for release on October 14th, and has described his mixed-genre EP as "a vehicle for the young musician to reflect on the state of the industry and access what he seeks to accomplish within it" opposed to the milked over state of rap music Oswald stated is "a breeding place for people spitting nonsense and promoting hate, misogyny and violence."

The well-educated musician uses his writing as a therapeutic, touching on new and unfamiliar feelings in a large city or unknown place.

His DIY approach at making his own music has led him on the path to success, not only in the studio but in the real world as well, stating that he lives his life in a very simple way, "to make the lives around me better." Be on the lookout for more to come from Oswald, definitely a play maker on the rise in the hip-hop industry, and grab your copy of Ride, available October 14th.
