Power Rangers is one of the longest running shows on television, only briefly stopping for a year or so between Disney's ending of the series and Saban's reacquisition in 2011.

In the nearly 25 year history of the franchise, the series had spawned two different movies before the recent release of Saban's Power Rangers back in March, which is coming out for home release next month.

Saban's Power Rangers is the first movie based on the franchise since 1997's Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and received much better reception from fans, even if critic reviews were more on the mixed side.

Rebooting the series and taking things back to the beginning in a more modern setting was a wise choice and seemed to work out well, though the juggernaut that was Beauty and the Beast likely hurt its box office performance, even though it did well overall.

Even though the movie is still showing in many theaters, the wait is almost over for those that were waiting for a home release.

According to Blu-ray.com, Lionsgate Home Entertainment has revealed that Saban's Power Rangers will be releasing next month on June 27 on Blu-ray and DVD. In addition to the basic Blu-ray, it will also be coming on 4K UHD Blu-ray as well, though of course that will cost a little bit more.

While Saban's Power Rangers is arriving on Blu-ray on June 27, its digital version will be arriving a couple weeks prior on June 13, which is common with pretty much every major release these days.

Lionsgate Home Entertainment didn't reveal any details about special features or edition, but that information likely will come sooner rather than later.

In the meantime though, pre-orders for the 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD are already available on sites like Amazon if you want to go ahead and order it.
