Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Divorce Update: Couple Seen Happy as Ever at Party -- Are the Rumors Wrong?

With Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi about to celebrate their 8th anniversary in a few days, the rumor mill is once again swirling about whether this celebrity couple is about to go kaput.
But don't be so quick to call it over; this couple is still going strong.
All over social media, rumors have been circulating that after all of the stress on their relationship due to Portia De Rossi's health problems, she decided to leave Ellen DeGeneres for a man.
There have also been rumors that a major source of conflict between the two has been Portia de Rossi's desire to have a child, since DeGeneres is apparently reluctant to do so.
But despite what skeptics may say, the couple has been seen out and making the rounds at various events.
During President Obama's 55th birthday bash on August 5th, DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were reportedly seen together joining in on the festivities.
In an interview with Parade magazine in June 2016, Ellen DeGeneres remarked:
"I don't pay attention [to rumors]. But we've been followed recently by the paparazzi, and we found out it's because there's a story out there that we're getting divorced. We don't know why. We're together all the time. We genuinely love each other. Her happiness is my happiness, and vice versa. True love is caring more about the other person's happiness than your own."
DeGeneres also posted pictures from a summer vacation that she and Portia de Rossi enjoyed together recently, further refuting the circulating rumors.
Meanwhile, however, different news outlets are offering very different accounts of the nature of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi's relationship.
Several outlets are reporting that the DeGeneres/de Rossi relationship is completely fine.
RadarOnline, for instance, has been writing that the two "are stronger than they have ever been" and that they may be planning for a baby. And Gossip Cop claims a trustworthy insider said that the rumors are "wrong as usual."
On the other hand, In Touch continues to report that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are headed for a breakup, even going so far as to say "their relationship has hit a crisis point," and their anniversary is "going to be the anniversary from hell."
So what's the verdict? Well, nobody except Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi know for sure. But to us, it sounds like divorce rumors may be a myth given that this couple still looks like they are going strong.
