Rumor: Early Reaction To Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Is A Positive One

When Star Wars: The Last Jedi came out in late 2017, the reception for the movie wasn't very rosy. While some fans enjoyed the movie, others feel it's the worst Star Wars movie ever made!

Due to the backlash Star Wars: The Last Jedi created, there are several fans that are not looking forward to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

However, a new rumor suggests the last movie in the Skywalker saga might be decent after all.

According to a report from WeGotThisCovered, a source tells them an early screening has taken place and the movie is good. The source says Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is the third best Star Wars movie ever made.

The only two other movies that is better than The Rise of Skywalker is 'A New Hope' and 'The Empire Strikes Back' at the top spot.

Being the third best movie in the franchise is good news as the film should be better than The Last Jedi.

That being said, this is just a rumor and fans will make up their own minds when The Rise of Skywalker releases later this month. Hopefully the movie is good because several people aren't liking the sequel trilogy so far!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker releases in North America on December 20th, 2019. It is the ninth main entry in the Star Wars movie timeline.
