It seems Women's Bantamweight Champion, Ronda Rousey, is taking Hollywood by storm. She's already been in films like "Furious 7" and "The Expendables 3." She's even about to star in her own biopic," My Fight/Your Fight," but that's not all.

Rousey has her eye set on Marvel, Captain Marvel to be exact.

Rousey admitted to wanting to play the superhero during a Reddit ama, in which she was asked about who she would chose to play if she could be a part of DC or Marvel's cinematic universe.

"Well, a lot of the good ones have been taken, but I'd like to vie for Ms.

Marvel." Captain Marvel is Marvel's first movie focused on a female hero and is scheduled for 2018, so likely no decisions have been made about the cast, as of yet.

While speaking to TMZ, Kevin Smith, admitted his support to the thought of Rousey in that role. "You see her in that picture? Come on.

You don't even need to think at this point, there's an image. Lord knows she's one of the only people who would play a superhero that could actually beat the s--t out of somebody."

He's not the only who think that Rousey would make an excellent Ms. Marvel.

Fans are behind Rousey and seem to be excited by the thought of her getting that role.

And who wouldn't be? Rousey has worked hard to excel in a career that doesn't take women very seriously. She's a hero of her own making, and it's only evident that she'd play a great hero.
