The WWE is set to stage its first ever all-female PPV event later this month and current star Ronda Rousey has commented on her social media pages the importance of the event.

She feels the event is a big step for women everywhere not just those in the wrestling business.

Ronda Rousey wrote her feelings towards the Evolution PPV via a post she made on her Instagram page today. You can read her comments posted down below.

"#Evolution. Not just a historical event for @WWE, not just a milestone for women everywhere. This is a dawn of a new age. The world itself changing, and @WWE mirrors that change through live performance art! If you have a sister, daughter, mother, girlfriend, wife this concerns you! Welcome a new age of kick ass women and spend an evening watching women kick ass!! #Evolution #Oct28 #RondaVsBella"

Ronda Rousey is set to be in the main event of Evolution as she will have to defend her Raw Women's Title against Nikki Bella.

The other co-main event will be headlined by Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair in a Last Woman Standing match.

WWE Evolution is not just a showcase for the current wrestlers either. Returning to the event includes the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita, Torrie Wilson and many more.

WWE is doing this event since the women are not allowed to compete in the Crown Jewel PPV that's still expected to take place in Saudi Arabia.

It's great to see the women getting a bigger spotlight in WWE since there's a lot of talented people on the roster now compared to a few years ago. WWE Evolution will be on the WWE Network on October 28th, 2018.
