The new Robin Hood movie is out this Thanksgiving weekend, although it looks like the film will not win over many fans.

The Rotten Tomatoes rating for the film has now been revealed and many critics aren't giving much love for the movie.

As you can see on the official Rotten Tomatoes website, Robin Hood only has a measly 14 percent rating by online and print critics.

The majority of 42 reviews have given the movie a rotten review, with only 7 reviewers giving it a positive score.

The average score for the film is 3.4/10 meaning we are seeing a lot of one star or two star reviews. You can read the Critics Consensus written down below.

"Robin Hood robs from rich source material, but is ultimately just another poor attempt to needlessly gussy up a classic tale with amped-up action and modern special effects."

Things aren't looking good for the film's Box Office reach this Holiday weekend either.

As reported by Box Office Mojo, the movie will only make $14.2 million in its first five day weekend. If you count the traditional 3 day opening, it's estimated to only make $10 million.

I'm not sure how much the movie cost to make, but I'm sure it would have cost the movie studio well over $100 million. It also includes some notable actors such as Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx and Ben Mendelsohn.

Robin Hood releases nationwide in North America on November 21st, 2018. The movie will need a lot of good word of mouth if it hopes to break even...
