Realistic John Lennon Figurine To Be Released This April 2018

Usually we receive realistic action figures from blockbuster movies mainly from comic book and the Star Wars franchises.

Well a new toy has been revealed that will make fans of The Beatles happy because it's a figure based on the likeness of the late John Lennon.

Molecule 8 issued out a new press release saying that this new 1/6th scale (12 inches) John Lennon toy will be available from April 2018. The list of features have been posted below as seen on the official website.

• Utilizes Stainless Steel Mark I: LITE Endoskeleton
• Two (2) interchangeable head sculpts
• Singing and resting facial expressions
• Interchangeable hands for various gestures
• Classic yellow-tinted glasses
• Round style glasses
• Three (3) "Imagine" era outfit options
• Trademark cowboy boots from the "Imagine" era
• Custom engineered figure stand
• The first 1,000 are sequentially numbered

"We are honoured to have been approved by Yoko Ono and Epic Rights to develop a line of distinct premium collectibles under the John Lennon brand", said Vijay Chadha, CEO of Molecule8.

"In addition to the sixth scale figure of Mr. Lennon, our team is developing a unique assortment of pieces that will speak to the genius, character, and passions that defined John Lennon, both as an artist and as a man."

As you may know already, John Lennon was one of the founding members of the very popular The Beatles band that became famous in the '60s.

Sadly though, Lennon passed away in 1980 after he got shot by Mark David Chapman.
