"Mode" features the classic production styling of DJ premier with tasteful scratches when necessary. Both Premier and Royce have returned to the formula that made their debut project PRhyme a success.

It's in-your-face lyrics mixed with classic Hip-Hop style. To add a little flare and a younger voice to the track Logic is brought on and he completely slays the track with his lyrical style.

The song represents and underdog, a theme that is reportedly a part of the "Southpaw" film starring Jake Gyllenhaal. The track is raw and epic but not as cinematic as "Phenomenal," Eminem's first single off of the soundtrack.

Nonetheless, Eminem isn't wasting any time getting his guys some shine on the soundtrack.

Royce also appears on two Bad Meets Evil tracks and a Slaughterhouse track, making him a heavily featured artist on the project. The "Southpaw" soundtrack is scheduled to be release on July 24.
