Pre-sale Ticket Sales For Avengers: Infinity War Is Tremendously High

Anticipation for Avengers: Infinity War is at fever pitch and pre-sale ticket sales are through the roof. With the way things are going now, the film might have one of the biggest Box Office weekend openings of all time.

As reported by Fandango on Twitter, Avengers: Infinity War "has already pre-sold more than the last 7 MCU movies combined". This includes Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 , Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther.

Fandango's Erik Davis commented on The Hollywood Reporter about the huge opening that Avengers: Infinity War could possess when it opens later this month. You can read his comments on the matter down below.

"Infinity War has built up such unprecedented anticipation that it’s pacing to break records, the likes of which we have never seen before for a superhero movie."

The movie is easily expected to have an opening weekend over $200 million, but in terms of high far it can go remains to be seen.

The two highest openings so far include Star Wars: The Last Jedi at $220 million and Star Wars: The Force Awakens at $248 million.

Early estimates say that the movie could gross close to the $230 million range in its opening weekend, although this number could go higher when the reviews of the movie are published.

Reviews will be published a few days before launch due to avoid spoilers from leaking out too early.
