Poll: 'The Vampire Diaries' V.S. 'The Originals' Paul Wesley And Daniel Gillies, Battle Of The Good Brothers

Empty Lighthouse recently hosted a poll comparing two enigmatic brothers Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan).
This week along with the results, we bring a new poll comparing Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies), in another "The Vampire Diaries" V.S. "The Originals" battle.

In a landslide victory, Klaus Mikaelson played by Joseph Morgan beat out Ian Somerhalder for the better bad brother. Klaus won 61 percent of the vote with 1611 votes. Damon fell with just 1022 votes and while some said that Damon may be the more attractive baddie, Klaus is just better at being evil.
There is no surprise that Klaus won the battle, after all, he is still the more ruthless brother and continues to show it by his alpha male mind-set.
He never listens to anyone else's plan without trying to go about his own first.
He is not afraid of getting his hands dirty or having blood on his hands and for that simple fact fans know that the victory goes to "The Originals" in this poll.
Now on to the new poll where we pin "The Vampire Diaries" Paul Wesley V.S. "The Originals" Daniel Gillies. They both play characters that lean more towards the voice of reason.
they are the brothers who have managed to display what it means to be selfless and sacrifice themselves for others. They are the shoulders that all other characters can lean on and most of all they are the alternate personalities of their brothers Damon and Klaus.
Stefan and Elijah have been in some of the toughest situations but have managed to rise to the occasion numerous times. So the question is who makes good look the best?
"The Originals" Elijah Mikaelson is a character that is both neatly dressed and carries himself in a gentleman's manner. That is, until he is pushed to become a ruthless original that will do anything he needs to to protect his family. While he can be ruthless, Elijah is responsible for talking his brother Klaus is to making peace with the witches of the French Quarter, as well as Marcel and his pack of vamps.
Elijah does have a troubled past that haunted him and it looks like he has a switch that is capable of being switched just like Stefan. Elijah has sacrificed a lot in order to benefit his family and the safety of it, including his love for Hayley.
No matter what the cost is Elijah has a selfless nature that is easily seen unlike his brother Klaus.
"The Vampire Diaries" Stefan Salvatore is very much like his opponent in our poll. He may not be as clean cut as Elijah, however, he does work to be the shoulder everyone leans on. He plays the voice of reason when his brother Damon thinks about a plan that could come with big consequences. In a sacrifice for his brother's happiness Stefan gave up his love for Elena.
Like Elijah who turned to Gia for female comfort, Stefan found his comfort in Caroline. Stefan does face the challenge of controlling his thirst and becoming a ripper.
While it was under control for the majority of his time in Mystic Falls, Stefan was recently forced to flip his humanity switch in an attempt to save Caroline from killing Sarah.
Stefan's humanity switch does give him a bit of a disadvantage against Elijah, so EL's pick is going to have to be Elijah.
