Playstation Holding Event Celebrating Brand

Sony announced the Playstation Experience today--a celebration of gaming fans across the world.

"I'm happy to announce our very first Playstation Experience," Playstation posted on their blog, " a massive two-day community event dedicated to the people who bring Playstation to life: you! We've been planning this bad boy for some time....

And with Playstation's 20-year anniversary just around the corner, the time couldn't be more perfect."

The event will be a celebration of the Playstation brand; free merchandise and previews for upcoming Playstation games will be among the goodies awaiting attendees. In addition, fans will be able to meet notable figures in the gaming industry.

The event is taking place from December 6-7 in Las Vegas; Sony announced that more details would be released on October 20.

"The two-day community event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6th and 7th," Playstation stated, "And stay tuned for October 20th, when we release details on how you can be part of this legendary event."

The Playstation 4 has been dominating the eighth generation of consoles. As of August, the Sony's flagship gaming product had outsold the Xbox One for eight months. In addition, they reached the milestone of 10 Million units sold worldwide.
