"This year, for Kurt Cobain's birthday (February 20), we are presenting an album full of Nirvana covers," reports Pigeons and Planes.

"We reached out to a bunch of our favorite artists and fellow Nirvana fans to see who was down, and we got some amazing music back."

JMSN's cover is both haunting and refreshing with a sure sign of good covers to come.

According to the website, the album will be released on February 20 but there will be more singles in the weeks leading up to it. Even better, the album will be available for free download for all Nirvana fans.
