In episode 4 of Persona 5: The Animation, the Phantom Thieves took down their first "evil adult" by making Mr Kamoshida confess the crimes he committed to the students at Shujin Academy.

It was an exciting episode last week since it was based on one of the best missions that featured in the entire game.

While this week, the episode takes a slower turn and is not as exciting. This week's episode is mostly story exposition that will set up future events that will happen in the episodes to come.

At the start of the episode, Ren, Ann and Ryuji are celebrating their recent success by pigging out in an expensive buffet.

They get really excited when their mission was successful, and now the trio want to change the hearts of other people in Japan.

They get inspiration since they literally bump into several rude adults at the buffet who hate the fact that these young kids are at the buffet restaurant.

One adult in particular will be seen in later episodes, but he does not do much this week

There's not much I can say about the rest of the episode because nothing noteworthy really happens. This seems like a time wasting episode because all it really featured was exposition to just set up future events.

We do however get our first introduction to the character of Mokoto who has to spy on the trio.

The school's principal wants to know the identities of the 'Phantom Thieves' as he's worried about who they are going to target next.

The trio along with Morgana also get to visit Mementos for the first time in this episode.

Mementos was a great place in the video game as you were able to level up quickly, but in this episode all they do is just fight off one adult easily.

In the video game, the quiet moments were better because you were able to do side missions or go out on dates.

Sadly, they don't show those activities in the anime which is why this week's episode felt very redundant and boring compared to the video game.

Anyway, this week's episode of Persona 5: The Animation is by far the weakest one yet thanks to it being all story exposition and featuring no other major developments.

If you have been following the series, you can actually skip most of this week's episode.

Next week's episode looks more interesting because they will meet a new character and hopefully find out who their next target will be.
