Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 Now Available in Nintendo eShop

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2, the new title featuring the classic videogame character, is now available on Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo of America announced the news via Twitter, inviting fans to purchase the game if they enjoy playing as Pac-Man in Super Smash Bros for 3DS.


Ghostly Adventures 2 is a sequel to 2013's Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures. And, the eShop covers some of the improvements that Ghostly Adventures 2 has over its predecessor.

"Play as Cylindra and Spiral," Nintendo states on the eshop "Now you can finally get Cyli and Spiral into the action to help Pac stop Betryaus.

Skate around with Cyli aon her hoverboard and Spiral flying high in the Cherry Copter."

In addition to Pac-Man's allies, the game will let you explore, "New and Distant Worlds" and crush ghostly opposition with "New and Improved Power Ups."

Despite the improvements advertised by Nintendo, Ghostly Adventures 2 hasn't been well received by critics thus far.

"In some ways, the game's simple ambitions would not have been a problem if the recipe had been respectfully crafted." The Guardian stated in its review of the game.

"But to a modern audience spoiled for choice when it comes to excellent family games, it is something of a travesty."
