One of CW's "The Originals" stars Daniel Gillies is doing his part to help the Action Against Hunger team after launching a t-shirt this week.

It all started with a bit of an Instagram spree but the cause is much greater.

Yesterday, Daniel Gillies went on an Instagram posting spree which ended in him posting a selfie with two sticky notes, one reading "Insta" and the other "slut." Gillies posted a total of eighth photos on his social media account which is a bit rare for him.

The initial post came with the announcement that Gillies had made his official Facebook page and asked fans to like it.

In the same post he reached out to his fans to let them know about the charity t-shirt he was working on.

"World food day is October 16," Gillies continued in the caption of the photo below, "decided to get my sh*t together to promote a T-shirt I'm launching on Wednesday with represent.com for 2 weeks only."

Gillies later on announced that all of the proceeds from the t-shirts will be donated to Action Against Hunger to help them in their effort to help end world hunger.

Fans can find more information on Gillies various social media accounts. As for season three of "The Originals," fans will be able to catch Gillies and the rest of the cast during the season premiere on October 8.
