Keith Olbermann used his "World's Worst" segment Monday night to to share his views about anyone who decided to dress as Adrian Peterson or Ray Rice for Halloween this year.
The host's take showed his typical lack of a sense of humor and inability to see context.
Olbermann was particularly up in arms about people who are choosing to wear blackface for the costumes.
"Yes blackface, the symbol of laughing at and marginalizing African-Americans in this country since about 1800," Olbermann said.
Lots of media outlets have reported on Olbermann's mock indignation, but only Greg "Opie" Hughes of SiriusXM's "Opie with Jim Norton" Show actually called bulls*** on the ESPN2 gasbag. Opie called out Olbermann in a series of tweets.
.@KeithOlbermann 1) u failed to mention that tasteless Halloween costumes have been going on for a very long time

. @KeithOlbermann 2) it doesn't make you a bad parent if you choose to wear a tasteless Halloween costume.
-- opie radio (@OpieRadio) October 28, 2014
. @KeithOlbermann 3) Domestic violence isn't funny BUT jokes about domestic violence can be funny. You know all 3 of these points...no?

In those three tweets Opie basically explains comedy to someone who lacks a sense of humor.
