Massachusetts-based post-metal/doom band Old Man Gloom has announced a "West Coast Residency" tour. The trek begins in late February in Vancouver and concludes in Los Angeles in early March. Check out the dates below.

Old Man Gloom will be touring in support of their latest release, The Ape of God, a two-part album that saw some of the best pre-release shenanigans in recent memory, where the band released a decoy album to the press, knowing full well that that's where leaks start.

The "false" Ape of God, featuring truncated versions of a selection of its songs, still received laudable reviews - solidifying the prank's effectiveness.

The current line-up of Old Man Gloom is as follows: Aaron Turner (Sumac, ex-Isis), Nate Newton (Converge, Doomriders), Caleb Scofield (Cave In, Zozobra), and Santos Montano.
